Corinne Douglas, Assistant to the Executive Director

Corinne is a Washington DC resident and avid Caps fan who is always up to travel for hockey-related purposes. She has two twin daughters who were raised to be Philly Flyers fans, and her husband, Bill Douglas, runs the Color of Hockey blog.

Erica Ayala, Volunteer

Erica L. Ayala is a freelance sports writer and non-profit consultant in New York City. She is rather new to hockey, especially the NHL. Her favorite hockey team is the Metropolitan Riveters of the NWHL.

 

 

Alyx Farias, Volunteer

Alyx is a Mexican hockey fan from NYC. Their favorite team is the Rangers, but they have a lotta love spread around the league. Some of their favorite players are Lundqvist, Zuccarello, Matthews, Zibanejad, Brown, Dumba, Subban and Holtby.

Ashley Craig

Ashley is a 34-year-old Pens fan living deep in West Virginia. She is the night editor at her hometown newspaper. Her fantasy hockey team once reached 3rd place in the BGHC league.

 

Georgia McFarland

Georgia McFarland is a student at Johns Hopkins University majoring Psychology and Africana Studies. She grew up in Ohio and am a fan of the Blue Jackets (and the Browns), so winning anything in the post-season is not something she is super familiar with.

 

Renee Hess, Black Girl Hockey Club Founder and Executive Director

Renee started the Black Girl Hockey Club in 2018 as a way to unite Black women within the hockey community. Her favorite team is the Pittsburgh Penguins and she has at least one hockey-related tattoo.
